About Us

Rev. Tommy Brown is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. (M. Div., 1983). As a seminary student, he served as director of evangelism and discipleship at Eastland Baptist Church in Fort Worth. After earning his seminary degree, he served as a full-time pastor for several years, first as pastor of Friendship Community Bible Church in Houston, Texas, and then as pastor of Berean Bible Church in Duarte, California. He was ordained by Alameda Bible Church in Houston, Texas. Prior to pastoring and attending seminary, Rev. Brown served four years as an officer in the United States Air Force. He is a graduate of Tuskegee University in Alabama (B.S., Sociology). It was at Tuskegee University through a Christian campus ministry sponsored by The Navigators that Tommy trusted Jesus Christ to become his Lord and Savior and received extensive discipleship training.

Biblical: in a world that is promoting sinful values and sinful philosophies , we want to build a church that is based upon, operates by and proclaims the divine truths of God’s word.

Salvation: When two millions people in the United States die every year and enter into a fiery eternity, we want to build a church that proclaims the gospel and seeks to win souls for Christ.

Discipleship: We want to build a church that specializes in discipleship, that is  training Christians on how to experience and live the abundant life in  our hellish world.

Holistic Compassion:  Many churches are engaged in social ministry but neglect the souls needs of people who are hurting. We want to  build a church that engages hurting people with the love and compassion of Christ that provides bread for their stomachs and the bread of life for their souls.

 Worship: We want to build a church that has a  worship style that is contemporary, culturally relevant and energizes God’s people  to worship Him in spirit and truth.

Christian Education Institute: We want to build a church that  provides a Bible based contemporary Christian education courses taught by biblically train laymen that educate and equip God’s people to follow Christ divine leadership in order to live successful and abundance Christlike  lives in every area of life.
